Tom Rush
June 18 – 19, 2004Hugh's RoomToronto
Tom Rush casts a long shadow. He tells and sings his stories, as if they belong to him, which they do, behind a masterful guitar, as always. In the light of his forty years on the folk-music scene, Tom puts out energy and humour that keep his matured boomer audience solidly with him from set to set. The show is based on his new CD Trolling For Owls, — a live recording of his songs and stories including "Makin' the Best of a Bad Situation", "Songs You Can't Do Any More", "Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian."
